Sanuki glue dyed with glue-proof glue made from glue rice. When attaching to an indigo jar or dyeing with a dye-soaked brush, place a paste on the contour line or on the part of the cloth that you want to leave white, so that it will not be colored. Finished dyes bring out a unique texture and are colorful. Although the origin of Sanuki Nori-dyeing is not clearly known, it is said that during the Edo period, Konya-cho under Takamatsu Castle was lined with dye shops, and kimonos were mainly made with indigo dyeing. The technique has been handed down today, and is used for goodwill, flags, lion dance lions (lion body), and miscellaneous goods.
