Ranunculus
Ranunculus is a very beautiful flower with many overlapping thin petals. Kagawa Prefecture is known for producing high-quality ranunculus with the highest production volume in Japan. The prefecture's original variety, Temari Series, is rich in color variations such as white, pink, yellow, and red, and also features a long shelf life.

The name "Temari" is derived from the shape of the flower at the time of the bud resembling "Temari". It is a popular flower for bridal bouquets and festive bouquets, but of course it has a presence even in a vase, and is recommended as a casual cut flower that colors the room.

Currently, the "Temari" series, which is mainly cultivated in Kagawa Prefecture, is based on each color and the words associated with that color, such as yellow "Yuzutemari" and "Remontemari", and red "Akanetemari" and "Red". There are "Temari", pink "Sakura Temari", "Peach Temari", "Koi Temari", and white "Koharu Temari" "Yuki Temari". There are many types of ranunculus other than the "Temari series", and the shipment volume and cultivated area are increasing due to the introduction of Kagawa prefecture's original varieties.
