Larkspur
Larkspur- originally grown in southern Europe- is an annual flower of the buttercup family, and is widely distributed from the Mediterranean to central Asia. It has palmately compound leaves (that is, they radiate outwards from a central point, like fingers on a hand) and, in summer, it has a long stem and many small, delicate flowers. The larkspur comes in a variety of colours, such as purple, pink and white, and is a beautiful flower. In recent years, it has become popularly used for cut flowers and potpourri.
