Bagging overwintering ripe
In early mandarin oranges to be harvested by November, we put bags on some trees that meet the criteria for fruit size and sugar content. After two months, the ripe mandarin oranges are called wrapped overwintering ripe oranges. Sugar content is one or two degrees higher than ordinary oranges, 11 degrees or more, and the inner bag is thin, so you can enjoy a melting texture. Nutritional components such as carotene also increase. It is a luxury item that is shipped in a bag from January to February, and is famous for its production area in the Soho district of Nio-cho, Mitoyo-shi.
