Squid (Mongo squid)
It is a squid that enters the Seto Inland Sea from May to July, lays eggs and grows. The length of the torso is as long as 5 cm, and you can see that it is large in appearance. It is also characteristic that there is a crest like a kiss mark on the surface of the torso. The squid is a type of squid that has a smaller catch in the prefecture than Kouika and Syria Keika.
The body is soft and it is recommended to taste it as sashimi. You can feel the sweetness and softness of the body, even if it is boiled, tempura, or with tree buds.
