Shiriyake Squid
It is called "Syria Keika" because it emits a reddish-brown liquid from the front (rear end) of the back of the torso. A distinctive pattern is that the white spots are scattered over the blackish body color. Although the body is slightly stiff, it is a relatively popular foodstuff in the prefecture because it is cheap and has firm sweetness. It is recommended that you try it with sashimi, tempura, tree sprout, etc.
