Delphiniums
Delphiniums are annual to perennial herbs of the buttercup family, native to Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. There are many varieties of delphinium with rich colors, but the main varieties are the double-flowered Giant Pacific and the Belladonna. With the recent popularity of English gardens, delphiniums have instantly become popular. Blue delphiniums are most common but there are also white, pink, purople and red varieties. The delphinium is weak to the summer heat, but in recent times, shipping at the end of the year using air-conditioned nurseries is becoming common practice.
